Outrage in Roaring Creek: Police Hunt for Group After Elderly Man’s Hair Set on Fire

Tonight, several people from Roaring Creek Village are wanted by police after a video surfaced of them lighting an elderly man’s hair on fire. The viral video shows a group of people ridiculing an intoxicated man and cutting his hair before lighting portions of his hair on fire. One woman is then seen extinguishing the flames while several others are heard laughing in the background. The incident has sparked outrage on social media with many calling for the perpetrators to be arrested. This evening, the Commissioner of Police Chester Williams weighed in on the vile act and stated the police are investigating.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “All I can say at this time is that the video was shared with us and the Western Regional Commander is addressing that matter. We believe that we know who the person or persons are behind that video as well as the person the victim whose hair was set on fire so it’s a matter that the police is addressing at this time.”

Reporter: Would the victim need to make a report in this instance or would the police just be able to bring charges.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “Police would record a statement from the victim so efforts are being made to locate the victim.”

The victim has reportedly sought medical treatment for the injuries he sustained.
