Over 1,000 Southern Belize Residents Assisted with Late Registration

Over one thousand residents from Southern Belize were assisted with late registration this weekend, thanks to Stann Creek Area Representative Rodwell Ferguson and the Office of the Attorney General. On Saturday and Sunday, the services of the Vital Statistics unit were brought to residents in the Stann Creek District. Ferguson ferried residents from several Southern villages to Santa Cruz Village where they were assisted with registration services. Love News spoke to Ferguson today about the initiative that he says was well-received by the people in his constituency.
