Orange Walk Police Quick Response team was conducting anti-drug operations on Sunday afternoon along miles 42 and 43 of the Phillip Goldson Highway. While there, the unit came across two individuals off a feeder road which led them to the discovery of 9 packages of compressed marijuana all of which had the letter “J”.”
SUPERINTENDENT SELVIN TILLETT
“A search in the vicinity resulted in the uncovering of 9 bales of rectangular packages covered with a black plastic bag. Police made checks and found out that the bails contained suspected cannabis.
