On Saturday, May 2, over five dozen persons were arrested and charged for acting contrary to the regulations imposed under the State of Emergency. According to the Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, these charges ranged from breach of curfew to failure to wear a cloth mask or other face (mouth) covering whilst in public; movement outside of curfew as well as cross district movement, among others.
The total number of arrests from over the long holiday weekend is yet to be released.
