Paintballing Officially Recognized as Sport in Belize; Federation Formed

When you think of sports in Belize, things like basketball and football immediately spring to mind. But there’s a newcomer on the sports scene, paintballing. The National Sports Council has officially recognized paintballing as a sport and acknowledged the formation of the first-ever Paintball Federation of Belize. Love News spoke with Leon Guild, president of the Paintball Federation to find out what they have planned for the development of the sport.

We also spoke with Michael Ortiz, vice president of the federation, who told us about the different ways paintball can be played.

We’ll be following up with the association as things progress.
