Phillip Willoughby accused of failing to pay in Social Security contributions

A UDP Standard Bearer is in the spotlight this afternoon after he is being accused of failing to pay in social security contributions for one of his employees. Phillip Willoughby is being accused by one of his past employees who has gone on record to say that he was employed by Willoughby for a year and was laid off amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The layoff is not the issue for Domineek Simpson. According to Simpson when he was laid off, he tried applying for the Unemployment Relief Programme and that was when he found out that he did not qualify as there were no contributions made on his behalf. Simpson has presented our newsroom with screenshots of text messages he has had with Willoughby as well as records from the Social Security Board. The irony in this story is to be noted as Willoughby is a board member at the SSB.
