PM Briceno and President Madura Sign Agreement

Prime Minister John Briceno is in Venezuela tonight. He was officially welcomed this evening by President Nicolas Madura.  PM Briceno is joined by Foreign Minister Eamon Courtenay. During Briceno’s visit, it is expected that discussions on high-level discussions on various bilateral initiatives and programs. Belize and Venezuela share mutually beneficial relations for thirty-three years. Briceno’s official visit focuses on the need to enhance relationships. Minister Courtenay, paid a visit to the National Pantheon and paid tribute to Simón Bolívar, hero of the Venezuelan Homeland. During the PM’s absence, DPM Cordel Hyde will be acting as Prime Minister until Briceno returns on Sunday.
