Police aim to end gang feud in Belize City after weekend shooting

The police in Belize City are hoping to end a feud between members of a Belize City gang to prevent further bloodshed. Over the weekend, 33-year-old Ronlee Petillo and 21-year-old Alyon Domingo were socializing at a home on Amara Avenue when a lone gunman opened fire on them. The men survived the shooting which, according to police, was the result of an internal gang beef within the George Street area. Minister of Home Affairs, Kareem Musa, explained that the LIU is being tasked to quell the feud.
