Police Capture Suspect in Triple Murder Case: Toledo Man Arrested
Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with three murders. Officers from the Toledo Police Formation conducted early morning operations on September 7 in San Antonio village where they captured 32-year-old, Ryan Foster. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Daniel Pasqual, Deputy Commanding Officer, explained that Foster had been wanted in connection with the murder of Dwayne Myers in April 2021, and a double murder in 2020 of Quentin Espinoza and American national, Roman Burley. The two were found dead under mysterious circumstances; Espinoza had been shot in the head, while Burley suffered chop wounds.
ASP Daniel Pasqual, Deputy OC Toledo Police Formation: “On Thursday the 7th day of September 2023 at around 3:30am, officers from the Toledo Police Formation Specialized Unit conducted an operation in San Antonio Village. During that operation the police officer located and captured Ryan Foster, a 32-year-old unemployed of Sittee River. Mr. Foster was wanted for several crimes including a murder in Toledo and a double murder in the Hopkins Village. Mr. Foster was arrested and charged for the murder of Mr. Duane Myers and that murder occurred on April 24th in 2021. Mr. Foster is also pending charges for the murder, double murder that occurred in Hopkins in May of 2020 in which Mr. Quentin Espinosa and Roland Bradley lost last their lives in an incident.”
Foster was taken to the Punta Gorda Magistrate’s Court, where he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until November 28. In 2021, Foster was shot by Police when he tried to escape from custody. As recent as April 18, Foster had attempted to escape out of a police mobile whilst being taken to Belize Central Prison.
