Police Chase Ends in Crash as Gunfire Forces Officers Off the Road

Two Roaring Creek police officers crashed into a ditch during a high-speed chase after suspects opened fire on them. On Wednesday around 11:45 p.m., the officers, identified as Corporal Tun and Constable Martinez, were returning from a shooting investigation when they spotted two men on a motorcycle matching the description of the suspects. The officers attempted to apprehend the men, and a chase ensued. During the pursuit, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired several shots, causing Tun to brake suddenly.
