Last night we brought you the interview with Senior Attorney Dickie Bradley on the nine men who were arraigned on drug charges following Friday morning’s narco-plane landing in Lemonal Village, Belize District. According to Bradley his clients were merely at the wrong place at the wrong time. Today the Police Commissioner commented briefly on that angle of defense for the nine men.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “Dickie is my good friend, a very astute attorney I have a lot of respect for him and Dickie Bradley has a job to do as the defense counsel for those persons and maybe perhaps Mr.Bradley was at the wrong place at the wrong time yesterday when he made those comments as well.”
The men appeared before Senior Magistrate Merlene Moody, and are to reappear in court on April 6.
