As has become the norm, the Commissioner of Police is refuting claims made by the Leader of the Opposition. Yesterday, the LOO alleged that Williams used the department and the Cyber Crime Act to punish his older brother, Arthur Roy Williams. In February, the elder Williams was criminally charged for several posts he made on Facebook speaking ill of his brother. The Seine Bight Villager was to refrain from making any further posts about the ComPol, but he allegedly violated the conditions of his bail and was charged again. The LOO claimed Williams was intentionally targeted by the ComPol and even attempted to get him an attorney, but no one wanted the case. Today, the ComPol responded to Barrow’s accusations and had snide remarks for the LOO.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “The Leader of the Opposition and Arthur Roy are the same. The truth is that he spoke of something he knows nothing about. He doesn’t know what is the issue but as usual he always has an opinion about everything. But you know I am not Shyne’s greatest problem you know ? The lady from the states with the Diddy shooting, she Natanya Ruben she is his problem not me. I am going to be on the back burner and watch how that plays out. The lady says that she has everything on the man so I’m just going to wait and see when the things come out. So he’s worried about me ? Let him worry about his problems that are coming.”
The ComPol went on record to say he has no issue with his brother, but no-one is above the law.
