Police discover drugs and guns in operation

Today, police made three separate discoveries of guns and drugs during a joint operation in Belize City and rural Belize. The first was around 10:30am in Sandhill Village.

Today, police made three separate discoveries of guns and drugs during a joint operation in Belize City and rural Belize. The first was around 10:30am in Sandhill Village. Police searched a bushy lot and found  1 black 9mm pistol with a magazine containing 11 live rounds of ammunition. They also found 1 pound of suspected cannabis wrapped in  transparent plastic. The second discovery  was in the Lord Ridge Cemetery in Belize City around 11:30am. In this operation, police found a black plastic bag containing 1 black 9mm pistol along with a magazine. The third discovery was at the Lopez Mateos Park. Discovered was a black plastic bag containing 4 parcels of cannabis amounting to 5 pounds, and 1 black Jerico brand pistol with a magazine. The cannabis and firearms were labelled as found property.
