Police Investigate Officers’ Abuse of Man, Social Media Outrage Grows

The police department is investigating two of their own after a video surfaced of a man being abused by the cops. The amateur recording captured a police officer hitting an unnamed man, who was seated in the back of a police mobile, in the face. The incident sparked outrage on social media with many persons calling for an end to police abuse. Today, Commissioner of Police Chester Williams commented on the video and says it is under investigation. 

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I received the video and I sent it to PSB and yes they’re looking into that matter. The police officer certainly will be dealt with as they had no reason to do so.”

Reporter: What do you say to the officer who sat in the back and just laughed when this incident occurred ?

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I have nothing to say to him. PSB will do what needs to be done.”

Reporter: So two of them are being investigated ?

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “That is being dealt with by PSB yes.”
