Police Investigate Series of License Plate Thefts in Belize City

There have been a series of license plates theft in Belize City and police are considering several possibilities in their investigation. Around ten incidents occurred last week, many of them on the south side of the city. Police Commissioner Chester Williams says that police don’t have many leads in the investigation but it is a concern as the plates may be stolen with the intent to commit crimes.

Anyone who has had their license plate stolen is urged to report it as soon as possible to ensure that there is a record in case their plate is used in the commission of a crime.
