Police have detained the man they believe is responsible for last Wednesday’s murder of 58-year-old Michael Clarke. Clarke has just arrived at the Roaring Creek village residence with his common-law wife, Julie Fernandez, and her three children when he came under attack. He was shot several times to the head in front of his wife and the children. Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams says a suspect has been detained.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I know that the matter with Michael Clarke is one that we are looking at. There are several angles that we are looking at that’s possible motives. We have a suspect we believe is responsible but our investigators are still trying to tie the pieces together the evidence needed to see if we’ll be able to close in on that suspect and perhaps arrest and charge that individual so it’s an ongoing investigation.”
