Police officers injured in road traffic accident

Three police officers were injured in a road traffic accident on Saturday evening in Roaring Creek Village.

Fem Cruz reporting…

“Love News understands that on Saturday evening, February 13, sometime around 4:10 pm, the officers were on mobile patrol in the village of Tea Kettle when they received a call for back up. They immediately responded to the call and pursued behind the suspect. Upon reaching in front of the Roaring Creek police station, a green Toyota Corolla stopped in front of the police vehicle. The driver, Mark Rodriguez, took an extreme left to avoid hitting the car. At that point he lost control of the Toyota Hilux and over turned several times where it  came to a stop about 50 yards at the bank of the creek. As a result, the driver, 35 year old Mark Rodriguez received abrasions to his face, injuries to the back and complained of pains to his chest. He is admitted to ward in a stable condition. 24 year old PC Kenroy Pandy, a resident of Mahogany Heights received a large cut wound to the left elbow, cut wound to forehead, right side of the head and complained of chest pains. He is admitted to ward in a stable condition. 19 year old PC Nadir Mendoza, a resident of Unitedville, received a cut wound to the top of the head and abrasions to the left side of the face. He was treated and later released.”
