Police Officers Stabbed in San Pedro: Suspects at Large, Investigation Ongoing

Two cops are recovering after they were attacked and stabbed last night on La Isla Bonita. According to police, just after midnight, 35-year-old Edwin Reid, and 32-year-old Kerian Mena were walking on Laguna Drive heading to the Police barracks when they were attacked by a man. The assailants allegedly hurled expletives at the officers before stabbing both men and making good his escape. The officers were transported to the San Pedro Polyclinic, where Reid remains a stable condition under observation. Mena was treated and discharged. Police are searching for two men; their investigation continues.
