A prosecutor advocacy training was held today for the prosecution branch. This training was focused on sharpening the skills of police officers who go up against trained attorneys in the Magistrate Court. Senior Crown Counsel, Alifa Elrington led the training and she explains that while the officers informally possess the knowledge, there are different techniques they will learn to carry out a successful case.
Members of the police force explained what they expect to achieve through this training.
The training consisted of officers who were not prosecutors but are hoping to be promoted soon.
