Police probe armed hold up in Cayo

A gas station attendant was held up at gunpoint while at work yesterday afternoon. 22-year-old Darwin Jones told police that he was working at the Mall Gas Station in Cotton Tree when two men on a motorcycle pulled up. One of the assailants put a gun to Jones’s head and took his phone and chain. A second attendant, 37-year-old Brandon Jones was also robbed of his wallet with some cash and a phone. The most significant part of the kitty was five thousand dollars in sales, which the men took. Police later recovered a motorcycle, a helmet, a phone, two jackets, and a chain, which belongs to Darwin Jones.
