The Auditor General’s report of Julian Cho High School also indicated that there were 2.2 million dollars that were issued in contracts that did not comply with the Finance and Audit Reform Act. Vehicles and electronics were also reportedly purchased without approval from the Ministry of Finance. This report has launched an investigation into the school. We got an update from the Commissioner of Police.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “Juilian Cho audit I have given that to Mr.Myvette and he has assigned the major crimes team from Belmopan to deal with that investigation so that was also a part of the discussion we had with the director of FIU as it relates to getting banking information.”
We will keep following the progress and outcomes of both investigations.
