Policewoman Speaks Out on Domestic Violence

Policewoman Speaks Out on Domestic Violence

Tonight, there is another case of domestic violence; this time a policewoman is the victim.  Kylee Joseph has been in the Police Department for over ten years and is attached to the Ladyville Police Station.  Earlier today she came out to our Court Reporter, Anita Nembhard, saying she is tired of being a victim of domestic violence.  According to Joseph, the arguments between her and her common-law-husband have been frequent, and the drama has led to depression, anxiety, and panic attacks.  The most recent friction between the two happened this morning which led to him biting into her right arm.  Joseph says she has tried to have her colleagues arrest her alleged abuser, but they would not cooperate.  In the end, she said she had to arrest him herself; but even then, she had problems getting cooperation from her peers.

Joseph is requesting court action, and says she will be seeking advice from an attorney.
