Port Loyola Mother Receives Home Through MIDH Pilot Housing Project

After two weeks of delay, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) and Port Loyola Area Representative, Gilroy Usher Senior, were able to finally hand over the first starter home in that constituency. The concrete structure was handed over to Belize City resident and mother of seven, Apolinaria Choc. Choc has been living with her daughter in a wooden house in the Curl Thompson Street Area. The roof was pried off during Hurricane Lisa’s passage and since then, they have been weathering rain and sun. Reporter, Giovanna Moguel was at the handing-over ceremony this morning.
