Possible Arson Case: Motorcycle Fire Investigated in Hattieville

A Hattieville man’s motorcycle caught fire this morning and police are treating the matter as a possible case of arson. Thirty-two-year-old Benevictor Max, reported that around nine-thirty last night, he parked his Honda Rebel motorcycle under a shed in his yard and went to sleep. He said that just before two o’clock this morning he was awakened by the strong smell of smoke and found the cycle on fire. He acted quickly, dousing the fire so it did not spread to the rest of his house. The fire did, however, damage a washing machine which was nearby. Police are investigating.
