Price of Diesel Falls for the First Time In Five Months

However, there is an ease at the pump to report tonight. The Ministry of Finance says that come midnight, the retail price of diesel will fall thirty-three cents. It is currently at ten dollars fifteen cents, but tomorrow morning when you fuel up your cars, it will be at nine dollars eighty-two cents per gallon.  In the meantime, premium will stay at eleven dollars sixty-four cents, regular gas will continue to be at eleven dollars five cents, and kerosene will be at six dollars eighty-seven cents per gallon – at least for now. The Ministry says that this price change reflects the current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international petroleum market. The new price also takes into account fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries where Belize obtains its supplies.
