Prices Rise at Fuel Pumps

Tonight, there is bad news for motorists. Come midnight, the pump prices for two fuel products will see a significant increase. The Ministry of Finance says this evening that premium will get a twenty-eight-cent jump from eleven dollars twenty-eight cents per gallon to eleven dollars fifty-four cents. Regular will also see a sizable uptick of twenty-six cents from ten dollars sixty-nine cents per gallon to ten dollars ninety-five cents. However, kerosene remains at seven dollars seven cents per gallon and diesel will stay at ten dollars four cents per gallon – at least for now. As per usual, the Ministry accounts current demand and supply conditions of crude in the international markets and fluctuations in acquisition prices of refined fuel products as the reasons for the adjustments. Again, these new prices come at midnight.
