Prime Minister Briceno Attends EU-CELAC Summit in Brussels

Prime Minister John Briceno left the country today enroute to Brussels, Belgium where he will the European Union – Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (EU-CELAC) Summit 2023.  The event will wrap up tomorrow, and then he will be off on personal time.  For the meetings, the Prime Minister is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Immigration, Eamon Courtenay;  Ambassador Stuart Leslie, the Cabinet Secretary and Chief of Staff, and Ambassador Amalia Mai, the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.  Prime Minister Briceno will return to Belize at the end of the month. In his absence, Deputy Prime Minister Cordel Hyde will hold over.
