Prime Minister Briceno Calls for Strong Voter Turnout Ahead of General Elections

Prime Minister John Briceno is encouraging all eligible registered voters to show up tomorrow to vote in the general elections.  With the polls opening at seven o’clock in the morning, today marks the final day allowed for political campaigning.  In a prerecorded message, Briceno took the opportunity to highlight the achievements of his administration since November 2020.  As we have reported, the PUP launched its Plan Belize 2.0 promising residents a legislated GST Free weekend in both August and December; as well as more opportunities for free education.

Interestingly, Briceno concluded his countrywide tour with visits to the Queen Square division as well as Collet.
