Prime Minister Commends Police Commissioner Amid Scrutiny

Prime Minister Briceno has commended the Police Commissioner, Chester Williams, on the works he have done with the Belize Police Department, and the crime situation in the country.  Love News spoke with the country leader, asking him to weigh in on the matter that the Commissioner Williams has come under heavy scrutiny in recent weeks.

Earlier this week, we heard the former Prime Minister, Dean Barrow, also register his vote of confidence in the Police Commissioner.  In our subsequent newscasts, we will tell you what the Prime Minister has to say regarding the gun licensing board, and the stories of multiple gun licenses issued to certain individuals.
