Prime Minister Lightens Mood at Independence Day Ceremony Amid Opposition Criticism

Prime Minister John Briceno delivered his keynote remarks after Barrow’s presentation, and made light of the opposition’s criticism; so much so that he started out by apologizing to the diplomatic corps for the opposition’s remarks.  Seemingly in jovial spirits, the Prime Minister displayed some humor at the start of his address.

Prime Minister John Briceno then moved on to more serious business, as he listed the accomplishments of his administration since taking office in November 2020.
