Punta Gorda Town Councilor Moses Cal Faces Multiple Charges Again

Punta Gorda Town Councilor, Moses Cal is in trouble with the law again. Love News understands that on Saturday Cal was charged with three traffic and two criminal offenses. Cal was charged with one count each of drove motor vehicle without due care and attention, reckless driving, driving with alcohol concentration above prescribed limit, assaulting a police and, resisting arrest. Cal was arrested in the vicinity of Roots, Rock, Reggae bar, located about two miles outside PG. In March, Cal, the former Deputy Mayor of PG was arrested and charged by police in March on a charge of wounding, where a woman alleged that he assaulted her during a domestic dispute. Shortly after the accusation, Cal resigned his post as Deputy Mayor but remained a member of the Council.
