PUP Chairman Usher Discusses Sugar Woes, Raises Possibility of Government Intervention

Speaking on the sugar issue this morning on The Whip Talks Show was PUP Chairman, Henry Charles Usher.  According to Usher, he is happy that the situation did not escalate further as history has shown under the administration of the opposition.  The most important statement made, however, was the possibility of the idea to have the government take control of the sugar mill.

BSI/ASR has responded to the Minister Usher’s remarks, coining them as untrue.
