Thirty-year-old Rafael Samuel Moh, of San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, was given a prison address when he appeared today before the Chief Magistrate, Sharon Fraser. He was charged with four counts of burglary and one count of handling stolen goods. Moh pled not guilty to the charges and said that it was a case of mistaken identity. Magistrate Fraser denied him bail and remanded him into custody at Belize Central Prison until March 28, 2018. According to the allegation, Moh entered as a trespasser the home of Karoline and Kirk Huett twice on December 24 and stole several household items. Also, on that same day, he allegedly handled two black and blue Shakespeare fishing rods that were stolen from the Huetts. Prior to those incidents, on December 21 he allegedly burglarized the house of Emily Knox and the house of Jeffrey Bella and stole several household items.
