Rastafarian Community to Celebrate Haile Selassie’s Birthday with Concert

July 23 is the birthday of the former Emporer of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie, and to mark the occasion the Rastafarian community in Belize is holding a celebratory concert. The Haile Selassie Earth Storng is an annual event organized by 7th Enoch Ethiopian International. The organization has held the concert for the last ten years and promises a show for all to enjoy this Saturday. Ras Ruben, one of the organizers, says that the concert is focused on unity and is open to everyone, not just Rastafarians.

The event has been held in Belize since 2005.
