Residents in Bella Vista Demand Refunds Amid Allegations of Village Council Misconduct

Several residents in the south are demanding a refund of monies paid to the Bella Vista Village Council for land parcels that are yet to be delivered.  Amid the demand, speculations by these persons are that the certain members of the council have secured acres of land for family members.  Multiple receipts of land payments were uploaded to the platform as proof of payments made as far back as January last year.  According to the post, those requesting a refund have been given the run around and in frustration, they have resorted to social media as an outlet.  Our newsroom made several attempts to reach the Chairlady Oneida Hernandez but our calls went unanswered.  Love News understands that each person paid five hundred dollars per lot.  Frustration has heightened after allegations surfaced that the monies have been invested and are not readily available to provide refunds.  Several of the receipts forwarded to our newsroom bear the stamps of the late Honorable Mike Espat and the Lands Department.  We will have more on this story on Monday.
