Resilient Rural Belize working closely with OIRSA to reduce pesticide used on crops

Resilient Rural Belize is working closely with OIRSA to see how they can decrease the amount of pesticides used on crops, particularly out at the Valley of Peace area.  The farmers in the area are known for their cabbage production, but due to the Diamond Back insect they have been forced to increase the usage of pesticides.  According to Joe Lisbey from RRB, this is one of several projects they are currently working on.

Resilient Rural Belize was one of the booths present at this year’s Agric Show.
