Road Traffic Accident on George Price Highway Leaves Man Injured

A man was injured this afternoon in a road traffic accident on the George Price Highway. The incident unfolded in United Ville Village and involved a towhead carrying lumber and a pickup truck. Our newsroom understands that the driver of the pickup lost control and the vehicle plunged into a nearby drain. Simultaneously, the towhead’s driver also lost control, resulting in its trailer becoming undone and scrambling lumber across the road. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries recorded because of the mishaps.
