Road Traffic Incident Leaves Two Injured in Stann Creek District

A resident of Dangriga was admitted to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after sustaining injuries in a road traffic incident at around one thirty Saturday morning.  Police were alerted of the incident, and responded to the scene at mile five and a half on the Southern Highway, near the entrance to Bocawina, in the Stann Creek District.  Upon arrival, the Police found 21-year-old, Azani Valentina and 33-year-old, Tomisho Hernandez with varying degrees of injuries.  Reports indicate that Valentina was on an unlicensed and uninsured Ninja motorcycle, heading towards Silk Grass Village, when he hit Hernandez, who was walking in the same direction.  Valentina sustained head injuries while Hernandez was treated at the Southern Regional Hospital for cuts to the face and abrasions to the arms.
