Road Traffic Incident Victim Passes Away; Wife Shares Heartbreaking Story

A man who was involved in a road traffic incident last Saturday has died as a result of injuries sustained. Thirty-eight-year-old, Constancio Cal of Santa Rosa Village, Stann Creek District passed away yesterday at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City.  Correspondent Harry Arzu spoke with Cal’s wife, Francisca, who has to cope with his loss while being five-months pregnant. She explained how the situation unfolded. 

Francisca says her husband was working in Placencia and had only recently been promoted at his job. She says the death of her husband has rocked their family, and that she alone will now have to care for their fifteen-year-old daughter and their son who is one year and ten months old. She is calling for authorities to deliver justice.
