A housewife of Independence Village, Stann Creek District has been missing for almost one month. 25-year-old Ruth Edwards was last seen on September 9 by her husband, David Edwards. Love News understands that the husband left home to go work for the night shift and when he returned home the next morning she was nowhere in sight. Ruth was last seen wearing a short blue pants and a cream blouse. According to David, everything remained in place at the home when he got there.

David Edwards, Husband of Missing Woman: We went back out at about 5:30 the evening to look for her dad in Bella Vista where her dad stays and we hung out there until about like 6:30 because we were talking to her dad from there we came back home. I got ready, she fixed my food, I ate and at about a quarter to seven I went out to work. She went as far as the gate with me, she gave me a kiss and I head off to work and when I get to work we usually have a routine that whenever I lock up the terminal I work at night I call her at eight o’clock we talk until about nine o’clock and then she told me babe I’m not feeling too well can you please call me eleven o’clock to take my pills ? Sure no problem I called her back eleven o’clock, she woke up, she drank her pills and that was it. So when I came home the Wednesday morning around five o’clock she wasn’t home. When I got home I noticed that the little dog was acting strange.  Like I told you before she was crying and crying and crying and crying and it’s something that she never used to do. So I figured that something was wrong but I wasn’t paying it much attention so I called out her name “Ruth. Ruth, come and check on your little dog she’s making a funny noise and she’s not like that.” and there was no answer so I went and opened the door and I went inside she wasn’t there. I thought she was just playing a joke. I went to the other little house that I have in my yard she wasn’t in the house neither so I came back and I started to call and call and call and call her phone and I didn’t get an answer.”

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Ruth Edwards, you are asked to kindly contact the nearest police station.
