Yesterday we told you that American Belizean Michael Salazar was to be drafted in Major League Soccer (MLS). Salazar has been drafted by the Montreal Impact. Salazar, who is a Moreno Valley Canyon Springs High School graduate has played at both Cal Baptist and University of California Riverside, and is now one of Montreal’s newest professional soccer player in the role of forward. Salazar was drafted in the second round as the fourth pick. This made him the twenty fourth to be drafted in the MLS Super Draft. Salazar had joined the Belize national team for the 2013 Gold Cup, playing in all four games, including against the United States. The draft continues today with the third and fourth rounds.
