Salvation Army Hosts Annual Christmas Dinner, Brings Joy to Over 500 Students

The Salvation Army is committed to putting a smile on children’s faces each year at their annual Christmas dinner. Today over 500 students from several schools in Belize City were invited to the Holy Redeemer Parish Hall for a day filled with food, fun and entertainment. Members of The Salvation Army regaled the students with Christmas stories from the bible. Students participated by singing carols and reciting poems. Division Leader of the Salvation Army, Major Marc Eddy Momplaisir said that their aim is to provide and serve.

The Salvation Army has been operating in Belize City since 1915, as a religious organization with a heart for the spiritual and social wellbeing of the people. The Division Leader is asking the public to support the Christmas kettlers on the street so that they can continue to give back.

Students made their way back to school with bright smiles and an early Christmas gift
