San Antonio Cayo farmers hold open day in their community

Scores of farmers from various local cooperatives came together yesterday for an open day in the Cayo community of San Antonio. The day was described as a fruitful event, not just because of the produce but because it was an opportunity for collaboration. Minister of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise Jose Mai spoke to Love News.

Cayo Central Area Representative, Alex Balona, described yesterday’s program as a chance for communities to grow and work together.

The community’s chairman, Aaron Tzib, also underscored the importance of the partnerships among farming cooperatives in the district.
