San Ignacio High School Receives All-Clear After Bomb Threat

An all-clear was issued just after midday today after a bomb threat was called into a high school in San Ignacio Town, Cayo District.  Sacred Heart College was evacuated this morning after the school received the threat a few minutes before nine o’clock.  Police cordoned off the area, and awaited the arrival of the explosives’ experts of the Belize Defence Force who conducted a scan of the compound and its periphery.   Correspondent Eliu Yacab has confirmed an all-clear by the authorities, and has been informed that classes will resume tomorrow morning.
