A man from San Pedro Town is in critical condition after being shot on Saturday night. Thirty-five-year-old Luis Abner Tun was behind the bar at Clumsy Restaurant in the San Mateo area when a man dressed in full black entered the establishment, walked to Tun and fired several shots at him. The shooter then ran outside and jumped on a motorcycle and escaped. According to Assistant Superintendent of Police, Fitzroy Yearwood investigators are yet to ascertain a motive behind the shooting.
ACP Fitzroy Yearwood, Director of Communications: “Mr.Tun claimed that he was at a business establishment socializing when a dark complexioned male person just walked in and fired several shots towards his direction. He was transported to the San Pedro Poly Clinic and then later to the Karl Heusner Memorial where he’s listed as stable but critical.”
Yearwood noted that Tun was unable to provide police with an official statement due to injuries sustained, but is expected to do so once he is in a better psychical state.
