San Pedro Tourism Awards Celebrate Excellence in Hospitality: Caribeville Sunset & Grand Caribe Named Hotel of the Year

The San Pedro Town Council hosted its second Annual Tourism Award on Saturday night. This year’s award witnessed a total of 27 nominees across nine categories. In the hospitality industry, Caribeville Sunset & Grand Caribe was awarded Hotel of the Year, while Caye Casa was awarded Small Hotel of the Year. This year, the Town Council augmented the recognition spectrum by introducing four additional categories Bartender of the Year, Front Office Person of the Year, Dive Shop of the Year, and Local Eatery of the Year. Elvi’s Kitchen was presented Restaurant of the Year.  The council says the recent convening of the San Pedro Tourism Awards is a commendable initiative given San Pedro’s status as the premier tourism destination in Belize.
