Santa Familia and Billy White Receive Upgraded Water Systems

Despite the flowing rivers and streams that run through the country, many villages lack running water for their individual homes. Yesterday, two communities in the west, Santa Familia and Billy White were a part of the rudimentary water systems expansion. Minister of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and Disaster Risk Management, Orlando Habet, explained what a proud moment it was to see the upgrade and expansion of the project which aims to increase water availability and offer clean portable water.

Habet also mentioned that he sees a second phase of this project which is to add meters and electricity.
