SAY IT AIN’T SO, JAGUARS LOSE 2-0

The Football Federation of Belize fielded a national team to play in the CONCACAF Nations League. Of a total of four matches that were played, the Belize jaguars  won two at home and lost two away with goals coming from Krishean Lopez, Deon McCauley, Denmark Casey Jr and Elroy Kuylen. On Saturday March 23, 2019, the Jaguars faced off against Guyana and lost  2 to 1. The FFB will analyze and formulate a new strategy for the future A Team in preparation of the next CONCACAF Nation’s League tournament. The new series of competitions are scheduled to begin in September 2019 and the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifying matches. Belize qualified for Group B in the next edition of the Nations League. In efforts of having stronger A teams in the near future, the FFB has been investing in our youth. The federation and the technical staff will continue to prepare the U17 males and U16 females that will travel to Bradenton, Florida March 29 – April 10 and El Salvador April 6-13 respectively.
