Scholarship Extension Granted to Honor Roll Students for Outstanding Performance

Eighteen honor roll students who received scholarships in August last year from the Office of the Special Envoy for the Development of Families & Children, will get an extension on their scholarships due to excellent performance.  The Special Envoy’s office teamed up with the Embassy of Taiwan, but it was only for one year.  Fast forward today, however, and those agencies have decided to continue paying for these eighteen students to continue their education through high school.  According to a release from the Special Envoy’s office noted, quote, “As part of this initiative to keep our students in school, the scholarship for this year will continue with these 18 high school students to see them through their remaining school years to be able to get their high school diploma.”  End of quote.
