“What we understand so far is that Mr. Williams was working that night there along with two other security guards and whilst he was at the booth at the entrance of the compound he was approached by a male person who came and fired a shot at him. He managed to struggle with the male person and then ran into the compound and while he was running the person fired several other shots at him which caused the injuries to his leg. He was admitted to the hospital and he has been discharged. The witness had mentioned that he was able to see who was the person but does not know the person by name. It was three persons that were working there that night and the one that was at the entrance so we are still looking as to what could be the possible motive or why is it that he was the target.”

Investigators are working on establishing a motive.
